Are you just another Sheeple?

Oh! I have been asked to speak with brevity,
To help the listener feel light and free,
Flying high, feeling valued and heard,
My words are like a gentle chirping bird.

Oh! I have been told to rise from my chair,
So friends can breathe fresh, tranquil air,
Comfortable and relaxed, without a care,
My words are like a soothing, healing prayer.

Oh! I have been advised to listen to the song,
Of birds that sing the whole day long,
Praising the Lord, spreading His love,
Their sweet melody is like a gift from above.

But I have been burdened with my fears,
Drowning my soul, filling my eyes with tears,
Should I follow them or break free,
And chart a new course, one meant for me?

Let me ask myself and find a new way,
A path that leads to a brighter day,
Where my fears no longer have a say.

Oh! Let me be bold and pave my route,
Filled with joy, love, and without any doubt,
A journey where my heart and soul can sprout.
